Jousting

Jousting was a sport popular during medieval times. Usually jousting involved two knights mounted on horses that used variety of weapons including lances, battle axes, swords and daggers, in a martial competition. Jousting was one of the many martial competition games in the Medieval Times. Jousting was part of medieval tournaments and involved a lot of skill. Jousting was very dangerous but many knights risked their lives and fortunes in hope to win the tournament and gain glory and prizes that offered significant sums of money. Skills and techniques used in jousting were similar to those used in regular combat. Mounted knights charged their opponents with lances hoping to disarm or unhorse the opponent.
