I've had this sword since 2009. It is well constructed and the blade has acquired a nice dark patina. I've put it to a lot of harsh use like clearing brush or splitting wood. It is robust and functional. Although it is large, it is not unwieldy. The point of balance is just right. I am sure this sword will stand up to many more years of use. The only issue I have with it is the scabbard. After sixteen years of rolling around in a truck and heavy use, it has started to fall apart and is mostly held together with duct tape. Still not a deal breaker, just a testament to the fact that the sword itself will pretty much outlive anything.

well made but the pommel is solid brass and very hevy i found it unbalanced the blade making it bottom heavy
